Description

Styled Room View

Misty Peaks is a faithful reproduction of a classical landscape painting by the renowned Qing Dynasty court painter Giuseppe Castiglione (known in China as Lang Shining). This piece illustrates his signature style, integrating Western techniques of light, shadow, and perspective with the poetic atmosphere of traditional Chinese mountain and water (shanshui) painting. The artwork depicts majestic mountain ranges veiled in mist, ancient pine trees, and a quietly flowing river.

To adapt this historical artwork for modern interiors, the Musee design team has meticulously restored and enlarged the image in high definition. Every detail, from the textures of the rocks to the delicate pine needles, has been carefully preserved. With these optimizations, the mural can now be printed up to an impressive 14 meters in height while retaining its original clarity and historical integrity. It provides a grounded, culturally rich background, ideal for grand living spaces, hotel lobbies, or traditional tea rooms.
