Imperial Pastures is a respectful reproduction of the historical masterpiece “One Hundred Horses,” originally created by the renowned Qing Dynasty court painter Giuseppe Castiglione (known in China as Lang Shining). The artwork is celebrated for successfully blending Western perspective and realism with traditional Chinese brushwork, depicting a tranquil and expansive pastoral scene of horses resting, grazing, and interacting in nature.

To adapt this significant historical piece for modern interior use, the Musee design team has conducted a meticulous high-definition digital restoration. We carefully enhanced the clarity of every original detail, from the texture of the horses to the distant mountains and trees. Through this optimization, the mural can now support grand wall dimensions of up to 10 meters in height while maintaining its crispness and authentic historical charm. It provides a calm, culturally profound background for large living areas, traditional tearooms, or executive spaces.
